![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I tried all various methods to get it going - p&c, credit card swipe at terminal, Apple Wallet, EA app, and customer service initiating it. I'm going to talk to my dealer tomorrow when they open, but does anyone have any info on why this is happening? Is something defective? Is it Ford's fault? EA's fault? Spent wayyyy too much money on a vehicle for this to happen in my very first trip and due to being overly frustrated right now, contemplating returning the vehicle. But I got fucked instead, and since I'm 4 hours away from home, and just starting to charge I can either sleep in my car or get a hotel when I should have been back home by now. I saw this exact issue with charging happen in multiple review videos, but assumed because they were earlier in the year and multiple people saying Ford/EA fixing these issues that I was safe. I called back again to have it towed to a dealership about 10 minutes away that was closed, but luckily they had a Ford Connected Charging Station that just BARELY reached my vehicle because of other vehicles parked there. Called Ford Roadside and despite telling them my exact issue and the exact car I had, they sent someone to jump start the battery. I was basically left with 5 miles left and no other charging stations close enough to get to. I decided to try a nearby slower charging station that was showing on Ford Nav, and that just lead to a nearby sports complex that was under major construction and no station in sight. This occurred whether it was Plug & Charge, using the station card swipe method, Apple Wallet with EA card and even after 45 mins with customer service and them restarting and sending signals. The same error kept happening, mentioning Vehicle Timeout. Multiple other brands of EVs came and went with no problem. Today, went to Electrify America to charge up my 10% vehicle when none of the charging stations worked. Took my first long trip yesterday from Orlando, FL to Naples, FL. ![]()
